Brooke Cortez, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with almost 20 years of experience. Although she started in the ER, her true passion is in dermatology and skin health. Her special interests include acne, rosacea, anti-aging, skin cancer prevention and treatment. Her formal education and training include:
- Texas State University at San Marcos (San Marcos, TX) – BS, Biology (cum laude)
- University of North Texas Health Science Center (Fort Worth, TX) – MS, Physician Assistant Studies
Brooke is a Diplomate Fellow in the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
In her spare time, Brooke loves to participate in Pilates, cooking with the family, and being on the sidelines of her daughters’ sports cheering them on.
